The following will only work if you have enabled the RPMfusion repo's. And before you do that make sure you have protected your main repo's. first install:
sudo yum install gcc-c++ make yasm pkgconfig libXext-devel libXfixes-devel x264-devel zlib-devel
Then execute:
wget tar xvfvj ffmpeg-2.8.2.tar.bz2 cd ffmpeg-2.8.2 ./configure --enable-shared --enable-nonfree --enable-gpl --enable-decoder=aac --enable-libx264 --enable-demuxer=mov --enable-x11grab --enable-zlib --enable-protocol=http --enable-filter=aformat --enable-filter=volume --enable-filter=aresample $ make sudo make install
If you run ffmpeg and it fails on missing libs you need to add the following to the end of /etc/
then sudo ldconfig for to take effect.
